Reflection

I now almost have 15 months of experience as a mother! It has been soo much fun, so much so, that we are talking about when to have our next child. There are so many things to take into consideration, but my biggest reason for not trying yet, its because I love my baby so much and I just want him to stay my little baby forever!! I can't believe how fast time flies, but to be honest, I even felt like my childhood and life have flown by.

How did I become an adult so fast? How did I become a mother so fast? Yes, I had a child at 25 which is by no means that young, but it just feels like it all came so fast! The more and more I watch my son grow, the more and more I appreciate all moments of my life! I try to cherish them more, reflect more, pray more, appreciate more, and I also encourage others daily to do the same. The biggest lesson I've learned, is to treasure each moment that God has blessed me to live, and not to waste any time being mad or worrying about things that one day won't matter. I feel like if I just help one person a day remember to cherish their day, or to look at the positive instead of the negative, then hopefully I'm spreading happiness, joy, and love. Hopefully I can continue to encourage people even if they have a very different road than mine.

8 month Progress

A baby boy at 8 months....

He laughs, he growls, he plays, he babbles away trying so hard to communicate..

He steadily eats solids, but now knows his favorite flavors and is able to make it clear when he doesn't like a certain fruit or veggie...

He can now clap his hands together instead of flopping them around..

He reaches, he grabs, he pinches, he pulls...

He can sit up, roll over, but he has made it clear that he has no interest in crawling.. he will probably go straight to walking when he is ready...

He blows raspberries, he smacks his lips, bats his beautiful eyelashes...

He has 4 teeth completely in, with 4 more coming in...

He is in 12-18 month clothes.. but has been in 12 months since he was 5 months lol..

He love his walker, stays happy in his playpen, plays in the tub, loves certain nick jr. and disney jr. shows...

He pulls his socks off, and still chews anything he can get his hands on...

He can feed himself cheerios, crackers, baby puffs...

BUT I FINALLY was able to get him to drink some breastmilk from a bottle!! The first time!! Before he absolutely refused...

AND he still sleeps in our bed.

Lol

Baby's first Christmas went very well. Still had to go to different houses but it went well and baby improved a little with his starnger anxiety. Now hes even bigger, more fun, almost 8 months old, and the spring weather is hitting! I love being able to get out of the house with him and go for walks. My fiance and i love playing sports outside and grilling in our backyard as our little family. Now im excited for the baby to be able to walk and run in our beautiful backyard and play!
