This is a place for me to write about my life as a stay-at-home mom... my symphony! I will post everything from music lyric ideas (short or long), to news about my day, being a mom, to life events, products I love, and my opinions on several topics. I hope that you will enjoy listening to music in my symphony!

Baby's First Cold on his First Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving always brings great food, and bustle, trekking from one home to another. It was the baby's first Thanksgiving and even though I enjoyed seeing family, it was quite a headache! Loud families, passing around the baby (who has stranger anxiety and no one seems to understand what is necessary to do with a baby like that, mind you), and not to mention, the baby came down with his first cold early in our celebrations. I became a little anxious and nervous myself having to calm the baby after he fussed and cried with relatives, and then with the baby coming down with his first cold. We had the necessary items at home to take care of the baby, but at the first relatives house, it was not with us. So I rapidly felt bad for the poor baby who was not happy to be around others in an environment he was not familiar with, and topped it with a runny nose. He became very fussy. So we went home, gave him the correct medication, calmed him down, and we were able to get some smiles out of the little one. Then we proceeded to the next family's house which went much better. A much quieter environment for a fussy, sick, anxious baby. He got a small nap in, did very well with relatives there, and we did not stay long so that we could get him home and keep him happy and comfortable. Thankfully I have such a healthy baby and his little cold only lasted about three to four days. They were some fussy days, but we got through them! Then we spent the next day as a family, shopping and decorating for Christmas. On to Christmas we go! The baby will be 5 months in few days! Here's to hoping the baby's first Christmas goes much better than his first Thanksgiving!

Been a long time
I haven't update in a while. After working only 2 days a week for a few weeks with being at risk for pre-term labor, I ended up back in the hospital with a few more complications and I was put on bed rest until the end of my pregnancy. In the midst of this, my fiance and I bought and moved into the house of our dreams while I was 8 months pregnant! We had a little help, and had to stay with my brother and sister in law for a week betweent the move, which was a lot of fun. We now live a few streets away from them, which we all love!
Anyhow, my baby boy arrived July 16, 2011 and he was and is so adorable. He is growing so fast. Don't worry, I'm going to spare you all the labor story. I love breastfeeding and being a stay-at-home mom! I never knew being a parent could be so amazing! Watching them observe their environment, watching them grow, watching them smile and laugh, watching all their firsts! Its awesome! He is 3 months old now and I've loved every minute of it. I've been itching to go back to work, but I think I have a few more months before that'll happen. I might just wait til he's over a year old anyways so I can really get back into music and the things I want to do with that. Well there's so much more, but thats enough for now!

Time Flying By/Work
Can anyone explain to me why time is flying by like crazy these days? Is it because my man works 12 hour days? Is it because I'm still at risk for pre-term labor and I can only work 2 days a week? Is it because my days waste away either doing chores or looking for ways to make money from home? I have no idea what it is, I just can not figure it out. All I know, is that it feels like just yesterday I found out that we were going to have a baby, and now its nearing the end of my pregnancy. All I know, is that things are incredibly different than they were a year ago. Hopefully we will have a house of our own soon and I will know what to do with myself. As for now, I feel like this is supposed to be a momentous event and it is flying by.
So by the way, does anyone know any credible and legitimate ways to make money from home? Being home so much, I am making money from doing surveys, but that only brings in small amounts every once in a while. I really want to make money and do some work from home at least for now and after the baby is born and I can return to work. I have looked and looked, and I am just so afraid of getting into something that isn't real or that is a waste of time. Let me know!

House Hunting Over??
So we put in an offer in (for a third house/time) for a house earlier this week. It was accepted by the seller's but now it has to be accepted by the bank. Hopefully it doesnt' take too long for that to go through because we really are in crunch time here to move out of this place and move into our home and get it ready for the baby. God is good though, and we know that He has a plan. I also believe His timing is perfect, so I am trying not to stress at all about the time crunch. I am so excited to finally get a house, paint it colors we love, and just make it our own. We are both excited to start our home and our little family!!

WWE show in chicago
Last night my fiance and I headed out to chicago to a wrestling show. We got a lot for our money, much more than we expected! Not only were we there for the live taping of Monday Night Raw, but we were there for the taping of NXT, some of thursdays WWE Supserstars, aaaand some of friday night's Smackdown!
Wrestling has never been my entertainment of choice, however, I went to a local show with my fiance and enjoyed it, and I agreed to go with him last night. Well it way surpassed my expectations! I figured I'd be maybe mildly entertained after watching many shows on tv with my fiance, but I NEVER expected to feel excitement and fully enjoy it live the way I did! The music, pyrotechnics, lighting, fog, wrestlers... it truly is all well put together and really makes a great show. I was excited to see some big name wrestlers that I have only seen on TV or only seen once, such as The Rock, John Cena, Triple H, and the Undertaker! Their entrances were all much anticipated, and it was incredibly exciting when they would finally come out and wrestle or speak, depending on their role in the night's show.
It may sound childish to some, it did to me for a long time, but there was nothing childish about the professionally entertaining way that show was put together! I guess it goes to show you need to experience something before you knock it!

UPDATE on my life
So it has been quite some time since I updated. Most of the people that read this that know me personally, know the news in my life. That I am both recently engaged and pregnant! So exciting! My baby boy is due in July, and my wonderful fiance and I will be planning our wedding some time after that. We are focusing on buying our own home before the baby comes! We are so happy, excited, and more in love than ever!
I recently had a preterm labor scare, but all is okay now. I have to be off my feet much more than before, so my work schedule has decreased greatly and I will be spending much more time at home keeping myself and baby healthy. In that time, I plan on doing a lot of blogging like I used to. I plan on covering many topics inlcuding myself (baby and life updates), spirituality, news topics, sports, music, and my opinions on random things! I will try to title my blogs accordingly so that you know what you are getting into before you read! This is mostly for my own enjoyment and entertainment, but I love to share my opinion, so feel free to share yours back! Just please be respectful of me and others!
